Pos+LINE KENT is a free phone helpline, for Kent. It is a dedicated HIV helpline, and serves all those people in Kent who are living with or affected by HIV/AIDS. By calling this helpline, you can access all the BodyPositive KENT Ltd services. The call does not cost the caller anything, and does not even
show up on the phone bill. The service is completely confidential, and run by a volunteer
force. Pos+LINE KENT is in response to the lack of local information, reflecting local
issues to the people of Kent living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and to the general
public who are looking for advice, information and a sense of security that
their chosen options around sexual practices are safe.

People have to ring the London Helplines if they
require information and this is sometimes
promoted by local service providers, but more
than often when people reach an operator on
these Helplines it becomes apparent that their service
is more heavily geared to their own locality.

We provide a service that is fast, efficient
and can answer most of the









questions around ALL HIV/AIDS issues and as importantly is staffed by people living with the virus, who maybe able to give first hand experience.
